Andrew, also known as Drew, is originally from Scotland, where he developed his passion for board sports through skateboarding.

He has spent a significant part of his career in New Zealand, working as an instructor, trainer, and examiner, building a strong foundation in coaching and rider development. With over 25 seasons of teaching experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the mountain.

Alongside coaching, he has competed in slopestyle, freeride, and banked slalom events, giving him a well-rounded approach to snowboarding across different disciplines.

Now based in Hakuba, Japan, Drew is passionate about helping others progress while keeping the experience fun, supportive, and rewarding. Outside of snowboarding, his interests include skateboarding and football.
