The What

The two-week long Japan snowboard camps are based out of Madarao Mountain Resort and explore a huge variety of resorts in both Nagano and Niigata prefectures.

These snowboard camps run over a two-week period and include 8 days of coaching with approximately 5hrs of coaching per day. The camps include 12 nights of accommodation, breakfast, a welcome dinner, 8 days of lift passes, travel to other local resorts, transfers to the local train station, and top-quality coaching of course. View the camp pages themselves for more in-depth details.

Our groups have a maximum of six people per group. We can cater to advanced and expert riders on these camps and we generally have two slightly different ability level groups.

The riding ability changes slightly depending on the camp. Please ensure that the camp you are interested in has a suitable level for you.

Note that all members joining camps for the first time in a season are required to fill out two forms; a liability waiver form and an individual details form. The forms can be found here.

The Why

Ride, eat and stay as a crew, with other snowboarders from around the World and the coaches themselves, and explore the best possible riding around Nagano, Japan!

The Japan camp schedule for 2025 will be out in June

"This was the perfect break in the middle of a very busy season instructing! Exploring the resorts in the area and improving my skills with great coaches and guides. The accommodation was amazing! We ate amazing Japanese food and enjoyed soaking in the onsen everyday. I finished the camp stoked on snowboarding with new friends and refreshed, ready for the rest of the season."
