Overview
A one-week intro-to-carving camp, based out of the CAMP3 Clubhouse in Madarao Mountain Resort, Japan.
This camp is all about learning to put your board up on edge. Aimed at intermediate riders, this is the camp to join if you enjoy an early morning groomer, picking up a bit of speed, and are keen to learn how to carve a turn properly. The all-inclusive atmosphere on our camps is the ideal place to build your confidence with speed, whilst getting loads of riding and top coaching - all at the same time!
Whilst this is a carving-focused camp, we'll be working on your general riding techniques too, exploring a bit of off-trail and easy tree riding, and learning to ride in powder when we get some fresh snow.
The camp includes four days of all-mountain coaching at five hours per day, with highly experienced and certified coaches. This camp also includes six nights of accommodation at the magical CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao, five days of Madarao/Tangram lift passes, daily breakfast and three dinners in the clubhouse, plus transfers to and from the local train station. The start and end dates specified above are the ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE dates (i.e. not on snow).
All camps need a minimum of three people per group to run, with a maximum six per group. Check our FAQs for more details on CAMP3.
