Overview

This one-week long EXPERT level camp is focused on the topic of TRANSCEPTION and is for experienced CAMP3 members only.

On the schedule again by popular demand (this camp has sold out every time); the theme of "transception", explores side-hits, pillow drops and transition features, in a wide variety of terrain. The term “trans-ception” combines transition and perception, and was coined by a few of our CAMP3 coaches (credit to Chris Rogers for the original idea) when discussing the unique skill set we develop when taking freestyle to natural terrain. Coached by Stubbsy and/or Richie, this camp will be taking the transception concept to the Madarao and Nozawa gullies, plus the natural features in Myoko and Arai.

The camp includes five days of coaching, riding with the CAMP3 Co-Foudners, at five hours per day. This camp also includes seven nights of accommodation at the magical CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao, five days of lift passes for all the mountains you ride, daily breakfast and three dinners in the clubhouse, 4WD transport to the local resorts each day and arrival/departure transfers to and from the local train station. The start and end dates specified above are the ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE dates (i.e. not on snow).

All camps need a minimum of three people per group to run, with a maximum six per group. Check our FAQs for more details on CAMP3.
