Overview

A one-week intermediate level freestyle camp, based out of the CAMP3 Clubhouse in Madarao Mountain Resort, Japan.

This camp is fully focused on creating the fundamentals needed for all freestyle riding. To progress in freestyle, there are some fundamental skills - stance, balance, timing of pop, bending the snowboard, and creating rotation with different parts of the body - these are essential to success in the park.

Struggling to get a proper grab? Too hesitant to try a boardslide on a box? This is the place to come and build your skills, alongside your confidence.

The camp includes four days of all-mountain coaching at five hours per day, with highly experienced and certified coaches. This camp also includes six nights of accommodation at the magical CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao, five days of Madarao/Tangram lift passes, daily breakfast and three dinners in the clubhouse, plus transfers to and from the local train station. The start and end dates specified above are the ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE dates (i.e. not on snow).

All camps need a minimum of three people per group to run, with a maximum six per group. Check our FAQs for more details on CAMP3.
