Overview

A one-week snowboarding skills camp for novice and intermediate riders, based out of the CAMP3 Clubhouse in Madarao Mountain Resort, Japan.

This camp is all about building foundational skills in snowboarding. Rather than rushing you into terrain that is too challenging or creates too much fear, this camp builds you up progressively as a snowboarder. Get your stance and balance dialled on one day 1. Work on building efficient steering and edging skills on day 2 and 3. Then begin exploring the mountain more on day 4. No pushing you into something you're not ready for. No peer pressure to try something that scares you. This is an inclusive environment that focuses on building up your skills and confidence throughout the week. Fix inefficiencies in your movements patterns early in your riding before they become habits!

The camp includes four days of all-mountain coaching at five hours per day, with highly experienced and certified coaches. This camp also includes six nights of accommodation at the magical CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao, five days of Madarao/Tangram lift passes, daily breakfast and three dinners in the clubhouse, plus transfers to and from the local train station. The start and end dates specified above are the ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE dates (i.e. not on snow).

All camps need a minimum of three people per group to run, with a maximum six per group. Check our FAQs for more details on CAMP3.
