Pat Jackson
Coach (NZ Team)
Starting to skateboard and snowboard since he was seven; Pat's been sideways on a board for most of his life. As a youngster he spent his winters riding and touring in the cascade mountains in Washington state, loving the freedom the mountains has to offer. Constantly chasing steep lines and transitions became Pat's main goal. After splitting his time between snowboarding, skateboarding and other competitive sports during his college years, Pat started teaching snowboarding in 2012 at Crystal Mountain in Washington State.
Pat coaches and examines in Colorado most of the Northern Hemisphere season with some trips to Asia to run AASI courses. In the Southern Hemi winters Pat chases snow down to NZ to keep the stoke alive. Freeride is his main jam these days with a fast and chaotically-controlled style. Pat thinks of his riding as having different gears, meaning he can be in any terrain or environment and be able to perform. He is always trying to better himself, on and off the mountain, and helping people achieve their goals has become his purpose.
