James hails from the land down under in the foothills of the snowy mountains. He spent his youth spinning wheels on motorbikes clocking up countless hours on dirt tracks. Those wheels were traded for a snowboard and he never looked back.

Spending most southern winters in NZ and countless back to back seasons in resorts across the globe, James brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and an adventurous approach to his coaching. All of which he is more than keen to share. As a current SBINZ Tech Team member, James is riding at the top of the game currently and is involved in a number of different projects.
