Overview
This four-week long AASI Level Two Instructor Training Camp is for AASI Level One certified instructors looking to progress their skills and sit the AASI Level Two Certification.
Over the four weeks of training, this camp covers all elements required within the AASI Level Two, including teaching, riding and analysis. Develop your snowboarding abilities in all environments whilst fine-tuning the necessary movement patterns and visual image to achieve the AASI Level Two standard.
This is the place to hone your skills under the guidance of two AASI National Team members Tony Macri and Chris Rogers, delivered in partnership with Snow Trainers.
All camps need a minimum of four per group to run, with a maximum six per group.
Ability Levels
This camp is strictly for Level One Certified instructors in AASI. Read about our five-stage ability level here.
Opportunities will be created during the camp to fulfil your AASI CEU requirements, ensuring you have enough credits to join the AASI Level Two exam. The cost of the AASI Level Two exam will depend on the number of candidates attending, but will likely be bewteen $1500-$2000 NZD. We also plan run an AASI FS1 (Freestyle Specialist L1). All AASI events in NZ are facilitated through Snow Trainers.

- Coaching
- 16 days of specific L2 training over 4 weeks, at 5hrs per day.
- Priority Lift Line
- All our NZ camps include priority lift line access through the snowsports lane at Cardrona and Treble Cone.
- Lift Passes
- A discounted CAMP3 season pass can be purchased for $1369 (only available to those attending camps).
- Transport & Accom.
- Transport and accommodation options will be released in April 2024.
- Off-Snow Additions
- Evening indoor analysis training sessions will be held once a week (4 in total). An indoor trampoline session will also be available on a poor weather day at some point during the camp. Friday beers are a staple on this camp too!
Transport, Lift Passes & Accommodation
A discounted unlimited season pass is available to any CAMP3 member who joins a camp in the same season for the cost of $1369. This must be pre-arranged with at least three days notice. Please specify if you require this in the comments box when booking.
