THE WHO

CAMP3's one and two-week long Japan snowboard camps are for those riders looking to surround themselves with other like-minded shredders and achieve some real progression in their riding while immersing themselves in the renowned powder (and culture!) of Japan.

Our Japan camps are for novice, intermediate, advanced, and even expert, riders looking to progress in all-mountain freeride and freestyle environments. Each camp has specific levels it is tailored to, so you know you'll be riding with people of a similar ability. We also have instructor training camps, for certified snowboard instructors aiming to progress onto the higher levels of certification.

From Japan's infamous trees and powder lines, to the easy-access backcountry and Japan's playful parks; this is some of the most fun riding you will ever have!

One-Week All-Mountain Camps

For intermediate and advanced riders!
For riders looking to progress in all-mountain freeride or freestyle environments, but with limited time available. These one-week camps are available in early January typically, with potential for a week or two in February.

Two-Week Progression Camps

For intermediate to expert level riders!
Builds skills towards one specific environment, like the Steep & Deep camp or Sidecountry Explorer camp. These camps are designed for ultimate riding progression in the relevant terrain.

Instructor Training Camps

Focused on SBINZ Level Two and Three
For certified instructors looking to train towards the next level of certification, this is the place to come to build your skills towards the Level Three and above standards.

Our one-week snowboard camps are all-mountain focused, with blend of freeride and freestyle flavour. The camps are 4 days in length over a 5-day window (6 nights of accommodation), and with approximately 5hrs of coaching per day.

Our two-week progression camps are terrain-focused, meaning the majority of the camp builds skills towards one specific environment, like the Freestyle Versatility or the Steep & Deep camp. These camps are 8 days over a 12-day window, with approximately 5hrs of coaching per day.

All our Japan camps are based out of our very own lodge, Clubhouse Madarao. Prices include accommodation, breakfast and lift passes.

Note that all members joining camps for the first time in a season are required to fill out two forms; a liability waiver form and an individual details form. The forms can be found here.

Our Japan camps are tailored to those looking explore a new overseas destination with a super-fun crew of shredders and coaches who know the locations like the back of their hand. The camps are based out of Madarao Mountain Resort and explore a huge variety of locations in both Nagano and Niigata prefectures.
