Overview
This two-week Level Two Instructor Training Camp is focused 100% on instructors aiming for their SBINZ Level Two Certification.
This camp is based out of the CAMP3 Clubhouse in Madarao Mountain Resort, Japan. It includes 4 days of pre-training with CAMP3's top-level coaches (who are current SBINZ Level Two Examiners), 15 nights of accommodation, a season pass to the resorts of Madarao and Tangram, and the SBINZ Level Two teach and ride module certifications themselves (you must be a paid up member of NZSIA).
During the training, we explore the fun and friendly terrain available throughout the resorts of Madarao and Tangram, whilst fine-tuning your riding skills and teaching knowledge in preparation for the Level Two exam modules with SBINZ. Note that you should come in to this camp with a good understanding of the SBINZ Level Two riding skills required already. Our coaches will balance the time efficiently between all the riding and teaching components required for the Level Two standards.
The coaching is approximately five hours per day, with a minimum one evening session included. We value building an inclusive, team culture to create a supportive environment for everyone, whilst all working towards a collective goal that is the Level Two certification. Unlike other training providers, our maximum group size is 6, meaning smaller groups and more individual attention (note that when joining the SBINZ certifications the max group size is 8).
This camp also includes three dinners per week, plus transfers to and from the local train station. The start and end dates specified above are the arrival and departure days (i.e. not on snow).
Check our FAQs for more details on CAMP3.

Optional Add-ons
Level Two TEACH Camp
The week prior to this camp, we will be running a one-week long Level Two TEACH Camp, focused on building the teaching skills required for the SBINZ Level Two certification. If you are coming to the Level Two with no prior teaching experience, we highly recommend joining the one-week Level Two TEACH Camp also. If you have real life instructing experience already, this probably isn't necessary however it can still be very beneficial.
