Overview

A one-week all-mountain freestyle camp, based out of the CAMP3 Clubhouse in Madarao Mountain Resort, Japan.

This camp is focused on all-mountain freestyle riding. It is focused around the local Madarao park and natural features, taking your spin and jib tricks from the groomers into the terrain park, and back out into the fun side hits Madarao and Tangram have to offer. Work on your 180s, 360s, boardslides and grab variations! The camp will also spend a day at nearby park-specific resort X-Jam.

The camp includes four days of all-mountain coaching at five hours per day, with highly experienced and certified coaches. It also also includes six nights of accommodation at the newly acquired CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao, four days of Madarao/Tangram lift passes, a welcome dinner, plus transfers to and from the local train station. The start and end dates specified above are the departure and arrival days (i.e. not on snow).

This camp is aimed at strong intermediate riders. At the minimum, you should be comfortable riding blue off-piste terrain and beginner park features already. All camps need a minimum of four people per group to run, with a maximum six per group.

Camp Cost
225,000 JPY - all inclusive with everything in this list!
Coaching & Guiding
4 days of freestyle-focused coaching (over a 5-day window) at 5hrs per day.
Lift Passes
4 days of passes at the local resorts of Madarao and Tangram (lift passes on days off are additional).
Accommodation
6 nights of accommodation, with daily breakfast, at our very own Japan CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao.
Transport
Transfers to and from Iiyama Station.
Epic Additions
Welcome dinner on the first night. Equipment advice and board setup tutorial. Evening beers and banter with the crew!


Ability Levels

This camp is aimed at strong intermediate riders. At the minimum, you should be comfortable riding blue off-piste terrain and beginner park features. Some experience riding in trees is useful when your taking freestyle tricks to natural features.


Accommodation

Accommodation is on a twin-share basis (with ensuite bathrooms), at the vibing CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao (just 100m from the chairlifts of Madarao Mountain Resort), with daily breakfast and a welcome dinner on the first night. Check out CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao here.

A limited number of single occupancy rooms are available at an additional cost of ¥‎2,500 per night (¥‎15,000 for the duration of this camp). If you wish to reserve a single occupancy room, please indicate this in the comments box in the booking form below.

Transfers available from Iiyama Shinkansen Station (bullet train direct from Tokyo) are available on the camp start and end dates. Dates shown are accommodation arrival and departure days.
