Rich, aka "Waldie", started doing back-to-back winter seasons teaching snowboarding in 2010 and became an Examiner for SBINZ in 2019. Spending half his year in Japan and the other half in New Zealand; he now mostly works examining instructor courses with some teaching thrown in the mix to keep things interesting. A firm believer that life is better when lived with snowboarding in it, Rich enjoys helping people get better at riding, teaching, or at the very least trying to get them very stuck in powder!
