**** Nagano Resort Explorer Camp 2024

07/01/2024 - 19/01/2024

Japan

Overview

Two weeks of quality resort guiding and coaching for strong intermediate and advanced riders, looking to shred as much of Japan as they can.

This camp takes you the best possible resort on any given day, throughout the prefectures of Nagano and Niigata. We follow the weather systems intimately and search out the best conditions daily, typically starting at our local base in Madarao Mountain Resort, then choosing from a few dozen different resorts to visit depending on the conditions. Daily transport to all resorts is provided, as are transfers from the local train station in Iiyama. The start and end dates specified above are the departure and arrival days (i.e. not on snow).

The riding for this camp is focused on a blend of all-mountain freeride and freestyle. We'll ride everything from parks and powder, to bump runs and tree-lined gullies.

Like all our Japan camps, our base for these two weeks is the CAMP3 Clubhouse Madarao. We all stay together, in our very own clubhouse, coaches included!

The lead coach on this camp will be Keith Stubbs (aka "Stubbsy").
