Overview
This is a charter heli snowboarding day up in the MT COOK region - NZ's highest peak!
We will have the heli to ourselves, with 2 or 3 small groups riding amazing backcountry terrain. Each group will have their own highly qualified guide. We will get between 8 and 10 runs in the most epic freeride terrain, in BIG mountains in the Mt Cook region (not on Mt Cook itself unfortunately). This is a once in a lifetime day!
The cost below includes a contribution to EKOS carbon management programme. As you know, helicopters have a substantial impact on the environment in the amount of carbon emissions they create. So we've factored that into our trip and will be donating to the Remeka Forest Carbon Project as part of the cost.

Details
This is a one day event. CAMP3 has reserved the weekend of 16/17th September and will pick the best weather day. If neither day is available, the trip will be postponed to another weekend available or individuals will be refunded.
When heli-snowboarding, chartering a private helicopter (as opposed to the standard package) is by far the best way to do it, as you get to ride the best terrain and get way more laps. However it does require a degree of flexibility and patience on the day, as the location will likely change to ensure the best possible conditions.
The staging area is about 2.5hrs drive away from Wanaka, so this becomes a big day and planning transport ahead of time is a must.
Note that all attendees MUST have ridden on a 4**** camp previously, to ensure snowboard ability level.
