France Freeride Camp 16/03/25

16/03/2025 - 28/03/2025

Europe

Overview

Two weeks of advanced freeriding in the astounding terrain of Tignes and Val-d'Isère, in the heart of the French Alps, with an all-inclusive package including accommodation, coaching, lift passes, transfers and meals.

Based out of Tignes, a group of high-altitude French villages located near the Italian border, this camp will be focused on riding the immense and extensive terrain available right on the door step to the snowboard-friendly accommodation, and throughout adjoining resort of Val-d'Isère. This camp will focus on high-end freeride technique and backcounty skills, whilst exploring the epic off-piste freeriding that this HUGE area has to offer.

Tignes is one of the most snow-sure resorts in Europe, due to it's elevation level. The main resort on the edge of Le Lac sits at an altitude of 2100m while the lower villages still boast altitudes of 1550m and 1850m. The Grande Motte Glacier, which is utilised for summer camps, rises to a lofty 3450m. That's a 1900m elevation gain!

Whilst this is a freeride-focused camp, we will be searching out natural freestyle features along the way and will also have some opportunity to ride park occasionally.

The lead coach on this camp will be Rhys Jones. Tignes is his home (yes, he lives there), so he knows all the secret spots and best places no matter what the snow conditions are like.
